Introduction.

The manufacturing industry plays an outsized role in Malaysia’s economic growth and has done so for the past four decades. According to the World Bank (2021), the value-added from the manufacturing sector contributed 22.7%, up from 10.6% in the 1960s. The manufacturing sector is indispensable for the countries’ development and the products and services produced have changed the ways of life.
