The African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA) should include a Chapter on data issues.

Forty-four member states of the African Union signed the Agreement establishing the African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA) in March 2018. An additional 6 members signed the Kigali declaration by which they commit to the AFCFTA once necessary national consultations had been undertaken.
