Is the world sleepwalking into another war?

Following the United States decision to unilaterally withdraw from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) i.e the Iran nuclear deal, Iran is much closer to building nuclear weapons than it was under the agreement. The United States also tightened sanctions on Iran, extending it to members of its political class such as Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
